I am Home

I am home! I had a wonderful time in Nevada.... other than breaking my arm .... I am going to miss everyone there....... My stay at Karen and Pats was wonderful too...... Now I have to unpack and change my room over for the winter....... white is just too cold for this time of year....

The boys were happy to see me.... Shinji talks non-stop.... Coby wants to show me things ... I will take pictures soon...

Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! We sure did... we had two turkeys and one ham. There were around 20 people here.... I have some pictures I want to show you.....

UpDate

I am still here in Nevada with Roi and Rachelle...... On Jon's birthday October 6th I was walking out of the new house they had just rented... and the next thing I knew I was falling to the ground... I broke my wrist and displased it. They were not sure what to do with me because they were thinking of putting pins in it.... Well in the end they didn't put the pins.. not yet anyway...... I did however get a really neat pink cast.. but the thing was always bothering me and I woke several nights to discover that I was trying to pull the cast off... that is painful let me tell you...

Saturday morning I woke up and found the cast sitting on the night stand... I finally succeeded! I can't get the silly thing back on.... Rachelle has been putting an ace bandage on my arm and.. I have better finger movement...... so I am typing with some pain but I can type....

They are moved in the new house and I will try to get pictures and stuff soon... but being broken takes a lot out of a person... I just don't feel as strong as I did before and there is also the fear of going outside and falling again.....

Lexi Going home this weekend

Lexi and Roi go to Oregon this weekend.... I was going to go but he is going to leave on Saturday morning and head back on Sunday morning..... it takes about 9 hours each way so .... I would be better off resting here.....

I leave here on Tuesday night and get home on Wednesday..... that is going to be a long trip ...... I will need to rest up for it....

I am in Nevada.... It was a long day yesterday.... I went from one side of the United States to the other..... and then to Nevada... The weather is is nice. Not to hot and not to cold...

Jon told me to consider myself kidnapped... he said I was not going to be allowed to leave... FOREVER.........

This is a picture of my little sister Jeshel .... When my parents died Maddie and Johnnie Brown adopted me so that I would not be an orphan... so I got two new sisters... Lulu and Jeshel.

I leave early in the morning........ I will close up my computer tonight.... and it may be a few days until you hear from me again.......

7 More Days

If you don't count today and the day I leave (this is how my mother taught me to do it) I have 7 days until I leave on my trip... I am really excited can you tell.... I have not seen Jon and Rachelle in years and now they with Roi are a family ...... And to put frosting on the cake... we will have Lexi too........... I will also get to see Richard Wayne, Anita, Nathan and Jules..... I have high hopes of getting my family all together one day.... all the boys and their familys....

10 Days Until I Leave

If you know me then you know that I have this thing about being early... Huh, Paulette! She use to get so mad at me when we were out on the road together... she would wake up in the morning and I would already be packing the car... with her stuff in it... ha ha

So I now have a suit case in my room and as I find things I need to take I put it in there... Yoko will pack for me just before I leave... she is so much better at it than I am... things don't get broken when she does the packing... I will try and pack light.... ha ha ha ha.... that is a big joke... on my trips to Hawaii Yoko would marvel at how I brought everything I owned and never wore half of it.... This is now a family joke....

Coby is going to take care of my plants and the few remaining fish in the tank.... It is already down in the 50's at night and the morning glory is looking sickly... so maybe I should go ahead and take them down before I leave.... Coby is not the best at doing his own chores.... so adding my chores to his means the plants will probably die.... It's ok, summer is almost over... the trees are starting to turn ......... and if the fish die I will have a place to put something else when I get rid of the tank.... don't know why I thought I needed fish anyway...

I will try to put us pictures of the re-enlistment today... my computer is busy doing several things when it is done I can work on the pictures.....
