Happy New Year Everyone......
This past year was a full one....... I saw Nathan, Richard and Anita's son for the first time in years, last January....... He is such a wonderful little boy with deep southern accent.... He loves his cousin Lexi and is so good with her..
Then Roi and Rachelle got married and I spent 3 months at their house in Nevada.... I saw Jon, Roi and Rachelle's son, for the first time in 8 years...... The last time I had seen him he was 5 years old.... It was a year of spending time with my grandkids...... What could be better??? Jon Jon, as I call him... Because I call Roi, Roi Roi...... Is proof of genetics...... He has his father and his Uncle Robert in him..... He is a wonderful child ..... Rachelle did a great job with him....... But he acts like his uncle Robert ....... While I was there his Uncle Robert got him started on Weird Al........ He sent Jon all of the cd's ....... Now Roi is ready to kill his brother....
I fell and broke my wrist while I was at Roi and Rachelle's house.... I still can't make a fist and typing is painful... Using the mouse is very difficult ... But I am getting better everyday... Soon I will be back as good as new......
Let me take this chance to say that Rachelle and her family were wonderful to me while I was there........ And they took great care of me while I was broken...... I am happy that they are now my family too.........
I hope to be inspired to work on my web site (Ladypeg.Com) soon... And I need to update stickroth.net ..... Greg I have not forgotten about your page just have not been on the computer very much...
We all have that cold or flu that is going around.... We spent the last week sleeping... Coughing and sneezing....... Coby and Shinji have been coming to my bed at night, we watch a movie until Shinji falls asleep and Papa tells Coby that he has to go to bed.... We watch mostly Chinese and Korean movies...... Shinji's favorite is "Bug Me Not", a Chinese Movie about a Ladybug named Cochi Cochi ....... I have seen this movie so many times that I know the lines by heart......
Shinji is now in Head Start.. His English is getting better and the little bugger never shuts up....... His knowledge of Japanese, Korean and Chinese is better too.... There are a lot of words that if you ask him he will tell you how to say in all 4 languages.... He bows without giving it a second thought....... Coby doesn't...... He had to when he was in Japanese school but no longer...... Coby will sometimes answer me in Japanese when I ask him a question in Japanese...... But most of the time he uses English..... I don't want him to loose his Japanese...... He could care less about Korean and Chinese...... Poor Shinji lives with all four languages daily.. His little brain is like a sponge..... Mine is like a block of solid concrete, nothing goes in and not much comes out either....... Ha ha
I now have a new fish in the tank...... He is an Oscar and that is also his name......... Sure does make it easy when they come with a name... Like a Jack Russell.... So far he is doing ok....... In other words I haven't killed him yet! I can almost pet him.... Well that is what I call it... In reality he is bitting me, but I do get to touch him when he does it... Good thing he isn't a Parana.....
